About me
Hi there! I’m Alessia and I travel as much as I possibly can.
This has taught me that there's always something exciting waiting just around the corner. Along the way, I've come to understand that there are always people who can uplift you (or challenge you - and we appreciate them too). You'll always discover new favorite foods, as well as some that might not suit your taste. I've learned that you can find someone or something that will shift your perspective and inspire you to do something you may not have considered before, and that's truly beautiful.
Most of my adventures start the same way: searching for a bus, a train, or a cheap flight to somewhere I’ve never been. I love sleeping in random hostels, saying yes to spontaneous plans, singing through the night with strangers, and trying whatever the local kitchen is serving (yes, food >>>).
Here I am eating Argentinian empanadas in Madrid, and later, a cinnamon roll I still think about in Bergen, Norway.
Anyway…
My first solo trip took me to Copenhagen (and to a tattoo artist) to get hygge inked on my ankle. This Danish word means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the little things in life with good people. Because, at the end of the day, it's all about the people you meet along the way. While I've certainly seen extraordinary places worldwide, it's the people who have made them feel very special. And the idea that we haven't met everyone who's going to change our lives, or experienced all the unforgettable moments that'll stick with us forever, it's just... unwritten.
